Building and Craftsmanship

Because we build what we design, we understand what drives the building process. We know why we are building a space in a particular way, and the reasoning behind the construction.

More satisfied clients

"This was the best experience we've had with construction. Every detail was completed and changes were not a problem or a bother to the employees which means a lot for a customer."

In appreciation for Design Build Team's work - we received a thank you letter from the family dog, Abigail, and we quote her:

"I sure do miss you guys, I had a great time while you were here. Thanks again for the great new digs. I love the new windows - I can see farther and bark longer. The porch shelter is superb - I can be outside, but still keep an eye on the family. I've even been able to nap with my belly on the nice, cool sunroom floor. Emma the Cat doesn't miss you. I'm enclosing a picture of her using the new eating place you designed for her."

All members of our distinctive team of craftsmen are uniquely qualified in their area of expertise. We learned long ago to build a team of artisans and treat them with respect, because that is the only way to get the excellent results we require. We never patch together an untested collection free-lancers. When we say we are a team, we mean it.

New Home for DBT

A new home for DBT with a view to increased craftsmanship capability in metal work and carpentry

DBT has purchased and is renovating a 1920's bungalow and shop building to create our new office/shop complex. At 1243 Merriam Lane, we are tucked in among the barbeque joints and local industry. Our site overlooks Turkey Creek with accompanying wild life. The existing shop building houses our metal shop and cabinet shop.

The new office is an existing structure which we have gutted and rebuilt using sustainable and recycled materials to underscore our commitment to energy conservation.
